PPG Coffee Event

On Wednesday 12th June, our PPG had an afternoon tea/coffee event in the waiting area during PPG Awareness week.  We had four members of the PPG talking to patients about the PPG and anything else patients wanted to discuss or needed help with whilst offering refreshments and biscuits.

"I had families who came to share with me their positive experience of attending their appointment.  The family felt that they were very welcomed especially the receptionist was very nice and spoke in a very friendly manner. They were also offered some drinks, which they were very pleased with"

  • Feedback from an attendee of the event.

The practice is currently in the process of arranging for this to become a more regular event due to the positive feedback displayed above, listen out for updates for the next event.

World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated globally every year on 20 March. It is organized by FDI World Dental Federation and is the largest global awareness campaign on oral health.

WOHD spreads messages about good oral hygiene practices to adults and children alike and demonstrates the importance of optimal oral health in maintaining general health and well-being.

Each year, WOHD focuses on a specific theme and reaches out to the public, oral health professionals, and policymakers, who all have a role to play in helping reduce the burden of oral disease.

What happens when you are referred by your GP to see a specialist

NHS England has recently produced a leaflet with the British Medical Association and National Association of Patient Participation Groups to explain what happens when you are referred by your GP to see a specialist.

This leaflet has been produced in response to changes that have been introduced in the past few years and aims to clarify what patients can expect from their GP practice and from the hospital. Please find a link to the leaflet below, or pick one up in reception.

Have your say

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) represents the opinions patients and carers to the management of Kensington Partnership.

The PPG and the Partnership work closely to find ways of ensuring that patients and carers receive the best service possible in the difficult circumstances that we all face. Therefore we have been asking for your thoughts and suggestions about two very topical issues: surgery opening hours and online bookings.
